How GPA Is Calculated

Cumulative GPA is calculated by dividing the total number of grade points earned by the total number of credits completed. Coursework graded A, B, C, D, or F counts toward GPA; grades of I, IP, S, W, AU, and CR do not.

When a non-developmental course is repeated, only the highest grade earned counts toward the GPA, though all attempts remain on the transcript.

An Incomplete (I) not resolved by the deadline automatically converts to an F.
