Post University GPA Calculator

Your grade point average (GPA) is calculated by dividing your total quality points by the total number of credit hours attempted with a grade of A–F. Your cumulative GPA (CGPA) is based on all grades and credit hours completed to date and becomes permanent at graduation, except for authorized grade changes.

Withdrawal (W), Transfer Credit (T/TC), Alternate Credit (CR), and Audit (AU) grades are not calculated into your CGPA. F and UF (Unearned F) grades do count as failing grades in your CGPA.

If you repeat a course, only your most recent grade is included in your CGPA, subject to the maximum allowable retakes.

To meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) and remain eligible for Title IV federal financial aid, undergraduate students must meet an escalating minimum cumulative GPA as credits accumulate — as low as 1.50 in the first 12 credits, rising to 2.00 for Associate programs and for Bachelor's programs at 61+ credits. Graduate students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 throughout their program.

Students who fall below the required standard are placed on Warning for one payment period; if the standard still isn't met, Title IV eligibility is suspended and the student is dismissed from Post University.

To participate in the commencement ceremony, undergraduate degree candidates need a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 and must be in good academic standing. Master's and Doctoral degree candidates need a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 and must be in good academic standing.

A grade of "T" or "TC" represents transfer credit and does not calculate into your cumulative GPA, though it does count toward your pace-of-completion (Satisfactory Academic Progress) calculation.
