How GPA Is Calculated
A student's cumulative grade point average (CGPA) is calculated across all attempted credit courses completed to date, by dividing the total number of grade points earned by the total number of credits attempted. The grade earned in an attempted course determines the number of grade points earned per credit hour of that course.

Graduation GPA Requirements
The minimum cumulative GPA to satisfy graduation requirements is 1.00 out of 4.00; under no circumstances can a GPA recalculation petition raise it above this floor.
Degree classification at graduation is banded as: Excellent, not less than 3.50 out of 4.00; Very Good, 2.75 to less than 3.50; Good, 1.75 to less than 2.75; Pass, 1.00 to less than 1.75.
