Grades not counted toward GPA
Several marks carry no quality points and are not used in computing the cumulative GPA: W (Withdrawal), P (Passing, for discretionary pass/fail courses and for credit from military service or Prior Learning Assessments), and I (Incomplete) while outstanding. FA (Failure, Attendance based) is recorded when a student fails a course and the last date of attendance was not more than two-thirds of the course length. An Incomplete not resolved by the deadline set in the following term automatically converts to F.

No. Roane State's catalog states that the general A-F percentage scale applies to most courses, but students enrolled in Allied Health Sciences or Nursing programs may not follow the same scale -- those programs set their grading scale on a per-course basis in the course syllabus.
