NSTU's undergraduate grading scale is set out in Section 13.1 ("Grading Scale") of the university's Ordinance for Undergraduate Programme, approved by the Regent Board on 15 November 2008. Alongside the numeric grade points, the ordinance permits three non-numeric course notations: I (Incomplete), W (Withdrawn), and X (Continuation, for project and thesis/design courses) — none of which carries a grade point or counts toward the average.

How do I convert SGPA to CGPA at NSTU?
Your CGPA is the credit-weighted average of your SGPAs across every semester: (SGPA₁ × credits₁ + … + SGPAₙ × creditsₙ) ÷ (credits₁ + … + creditsₙ). Save each semester to the tracker on this page, by course or as a quick SGPA + credits entry, and it works out your CGPA on every save, edit and delete.
Is this NSTU GPA calculator free, and is my data private?
Yes. GPAWise is free, with no signup, and your courses and saved semesters stay in your browser: nothing is sent to our servers. "Clear all tracker data" on the tracker wipes them at any time.
