Incomplete Grades

An "I" (Incomplete) may be issued at the instructor's discretion when a student has completed a substantial portion of the required coursework but, for non-academic reasons beyond their control, could not finish the course. If the required work is not completed on or before the midterm of the following term, the "I" automatically becomes an "F."

Transfer Credit Grade Requirement

Course grades below "C" are not accepted as transfer credit. Accepted transfer credit is recorded as TRA, TRB, or TRC (the third letter indicating the grade earned), TRM for military transfer credit, TRP for pass/fail and secondary articulated credit, or TR for credit earned by examination (AP, CLEP, International Baccalaureate).

How do I convert SGPA to CGPA at Augusta Technical College?

Check with the registrar if you need to confirm how a specific Learning Support grade was recorded.

Does the Work Ethics grade affect my GPA?

No. Augusta Technical College issues a separate semester Work Ethics grade (rated 3 to 0) for occupational courses, and it appears on the transcript, but the catalog states it "will not affect the academic grade point average (GPA)" of a student.
