Term GPA to cumulative GPA at Lethbridge Polytechnic — how the conversion works
Your cumulative GPA is not a plain average of your term GPAs: each semester is weighted by the credit hours it carried. The formula is:
Cumulative GPA = (GPA1 × credits1 + GPA2 × credits2 + … + GPAn × creditsn) ÷ (credits1 + credits2 + … + creditsn)
