How is my GPA calculated?
Grade-point average (GPA) is the number of quality points earned divided by the number of credit hours attempted. Grades of W (passing withdrawal), I (incomplete), CR (credit), NC (no credit), AU (audit), and NA (no audit) are not counted toward GPA. A grade of WF (failing standing at the time of an official withdrawal after the tenth week of the semester) is counted the same as F.

Does this calculator apply to CAPS or Wesley Seminary students?
This calculator uses the grading scale published for Indiana Wesleyan University's College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), its residential/traditional undergraduate division. The College of Adult and Professional Studies (CAPS) and Wesley Seminary are separate academic divisions that publish their own grading and evaluation policies in the same catalog, and are not covered by this calculator.
