Grades that don't count toward GPA
Several grade notations Kutztown University records on the transcript are not used in GPA calculations:
- FA (pass/fail failing grade) – no effect on the GPA; no credit hours are recorded.
- PA (pass/fail passing grade) – credit hours are recorded but not used in the GPA calculation.
- NG (no grade reported) – no effect on the GPA.
- NC (no credit) – no credit hours recorded, no effect on the GPA.
- W (withdrawn) and M (military withdrawal) – no effect on the GPA.
An I (incomplete) grade does not count as an F while outstanding, but for undergraduates it automatically converts to an F if the coursework is not completed by the end of the tenth week of the next semester.

Can I save my semesters and track my CGPA at KU?

How do I convert SGPA to CGPA at KU?
Your CGPA is the credit-weighted average of every semester's SGPA. The formula is: CGPA = (SGPA₁ × credits₁ + SGPA₂ × credits₂ + … + SGPAₙ × creditsₙ) ÷ (credits₁ + credits₂ + … + creditsₙ). Can I add past semester GPAs without entering every course?

Quick-added and course-by-course semesters can be mixed freely; both contribute to your CGPA using the same credit-weighted formula.
Is my CGPA tracker data sent to your servers?
No. Your saved semesters are stored locally in your browser only — nothing is transmitted to GPAWise. A "Clear all tracker data" button is always available on the tracker tab to wipe the data on demand.
