How the GPA Is Computed
Grades of S (Satisfactory, under the Satisfactory/No Credit basis), NC (No Credit), I (Incomplete), IP (In Progress), and GD (Grade Delay) carry no grade points and are not counted in the grade point average.
When a course is repeated, the grade from each enrollment is permanently recorded on the transcript, but only the most recently earned grade is computed in the GPA. Only courses graded D, F, or NC may be repeated, and repeating a course more than once requires approval from the student's Dean.
