University of Wyoming (UW) GPA Calculator

Grade point average (GPA) is the sum of all grade points earned divided by all credit hours attempted for a letter grade. Credit hours are not counted toward GPA for courses marked W (withdrawal), S (satisfactory), U (unsatisfactory), or a temporary incomplete mark still in effect — none of these carry grade points that count in the average.

Repeated courses: on a first repeat, only the second attempt's credit and grade count toward the cumulative GPA; if a course is repeated more than once, only the last attempt counts. Students are limited to a maximum of three attempts at any one course, including withdrawals.

Transfer grades are not counted in the University of Wyoming cumulative grade point average. If a course taken at UW is later repeated at another institution, the original UW credit and grade are removed from the UW GPA computation once the transfer credit posts.
