Course Repetition to Remove a Substandard Grade
When a student repeats a course to alleviate a substandard grade ("D", "F", "FW", "NP", or "NC"), the previous grade and credit are disregarded when computing the cumulative grade-point average, and the highest grade earned is used instead. No more than two substandard grades may be alleviated this way. The student's permanent record is annotated so that all prior work remains legible.
