If a previously failed course is repeated and passed, the semester and cumulative GPA are recalculated to reflect only the passing grade. Both the original F and the new grade remain on the academic transcript.

Non-GPA Grades and Satisfactory Academic Progress
Grade Pending (GP), Incomplete (I), No Credit (NC), No Grade (NG), Unsatisfactory (U), and Withdrawal (W) are not calculated into the semester or cumulative GPA, but they are counted as attempted (not earned) credit when Satisfactory Academic Progress is determined.

Honors Option Grades

Can I save my semesters and track my CGPA at JWU?

Is my CGPA tracker data sent to your servers?
Is this Johnson & Wales University (JWU) GPA calculator free?
Does JWU use the same grading scale for graduate programs?
No. This calculator uses Johnson & Wales University's undergraduate grading scale. JWU publishes a separate Graduate Grading System with different bands and quality points: A+/A = 4.00 (97–100 / 93–96), A- = 3.70 (90–92), B+ = 3.30 (87–89), B = 3.00 (83–86), B- = 2.70 (80–82), C+ = 2.30 (77–79), C = 2.00 (73–76), C- = 1.70 (70–72), F = 0.00 (0–69). Graduate students should apply JWU's published graduate table rather than this calculator's undergraduate scale.
