Cuesta College courses are graded using the grading symbols established by Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations, on a 4.0 grade point scale. Plus/minus grading was implemented in Fall 2008.

GPA Calculation
Grades earned in nondegree-applicable credit courses are not included in the degree-applicable grade point average. Grades earned in degree-applicable courses from both Cuesta and other regionally accredited institutions are included as they were awarded at that institution — including a transferred grade of C- (1.7 grade points) — and converted to semester unit values as needed.

Quick-added and course-by-course semesters can be mixed freely; both contribute to your CGPA using the same credit-weighted formula.
Is my CGPA tracker data sent to your servers?
No. Your saved semesters are stored locally in your browser only — nothing is transmitted to GPAWise. A "Clear all tracker data" button is always available on the tracker tab to wipe the data on demand.
