Your Institutional GPA covers all coursework taken at KSU (no transfer credit) and is also adjusted for repeats — it's the GPA used for academic standing, probation, and semester honors. Your Cumulative GPA is the average of every grade you've earned and is not adjusted for repeats.
Courses graded S, U, W, or I are never included in any KSU GPA.
If you repeat a course with a higher grade, the higher grade counts toward your Term and Institutional GPA, but the lower (original) grade still counts toward your Cumulative GPA — every attempt stays on your permanent record.
