How grading works at LCCC
LCCC grades coursework on a 4.0 scale: A (4 points), B (3 points), C (2 points), D (1 point), and F (0 points). LCCC does not use plus/minus grading — there is no A+, A-, B+, or any other modified letter grade.
LCCC's grading sequence also includes S, U, I, W, and Audit — but none of these carry GPA-counted points.

How your GPA is calculated at LCCC
Only A, B, C, D, and F grades are calculated into your GPA. S, U, I, W, and Audit grades are not calculated into the GPA, even though LCCC's grading sequence lists them alongside its letter grades.
If you repeat a course, the higher of the two grades earned is used in your GPA calculation.
